Enrichment

Our diverse and engaging enrichment programme is designed to inspire and challenge, with opportunities shaping our students into confident, capable, and compassionate global citizens. PA High is lucky enough to have excellent links with a school is Dubai and it is our intention to offer Year 13 students the opportunity to visit our partner school in this amazing city to experience both educational and business opportunities as a part of this visit.

Connecting our students to worldwide opportunities, from industry placements and international trips, to debating global issues and leading community projects, our students will be encouraged and supported to grow into the best version of themselves - ready to thrive on a global stage. Here, we don’t just prepare our students for examinations - we prepare them for life.

At PAHS Sixth Form, we believe education goes beyond the classroom. That’s why we have planned in protected time for enrichment. All students will take part in our dynamic and evolving character development programme designed to inspire, engage, and excite, whilst broadening their horizons and preparing them for life beyond sixth form.

Students will rotate through a variety of exciting activities of their choice such as sports and fitness, cooking, music, and languages. In addition, this time will be used to host guest speakers, deliver careers and higher education workshops, and support university applications, mock interviews, and work experience preparation. Students will benefit from direct encounters with leading employers and further education providers, offering real-world insights and inspiration. There will also the opportunity to take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award at Bronze, Silver, or Gold level, as well as to step into leadership roles supporting the lower school.

These enriching experiences will be carefully curated to foster resilience, independence, and confidence, equipping our students with the character and skills to succeed in the future pathway of their choice.
